Richmond Drama School strives to educate and inspire students who want to enter the performing arts industry or continue onto further education. The Drama School includes tutoring in areas such as text work, voice, physical theatre (Lecoq based), film and TV work, preparation and presentation of audition material, sight reading, stage combat, dancing in various styles, and movement.
A high number of our students go on to degree courses at leading drama schools – recently to such as Court Theatre School, Drama Studio London and Stella Adler in New York. Others go straight into all areas of activity and employment undertaken by actors.
The Free Association’s London and Amsterdam schools are formulated around the FA syllabus – a huge (ever growing) book, meticulously written and structured in order to help you learn everything from the fundamentals of long-form improv through to advanced moves, forms and techniques… all while staying true to the FA’s unique style. Whilst all our trainers bring unique experience and expertise to their lessons, they all know our style and syllabus inside out, so your improv education will be the same regardless of who is running your class.

The Sylvia Young Theatre School has become a popular Central London location for rehearsals and castings for TV, film and theatre. The school offers ten spacious, state-of-the-art studios with air conditioning. All of the studios are equipped with pianos, sprung floors and sound systems and the building has free wi-fi throughout. The school is within easy-reach of Marble Arch, Marylebone and Baker Street underground stations.
Throughout the week you will be working towards your big performance, while taking part in an exciting mix of drama, singing and dance classes! You will also attend exclusive West End masterclasses and a trip to a West End musical.
