Our faculty are renowned industry artists with expertise in a wide range of performing styles, from on-camera acting to ensemble performances. The curriculum—from our General Program to Pre-Professional Troupes—explores collaborative and solo exercises, as well as the technical aspects of theatre and film, like lighting, sound, and costume and set design.
Arts Umbrella Theatre, Music & Film programs nurture young performers’ creativity and build skills that benefit them on the stage and in everyday life. We see how musical harmonies foster teamwork, how learning to project your voice build self-confidence, how imagination is freed when shown a new script, and how leadership is shaped in the director’s chair.

The GSA is currently putting plans in place to reopen this October. As Ireland’s leading drama school, the GSA offers full and part-time courses for adults, courses for children, and a wide range of creative corporate and outreach options.
We are currently enrolling on our part-time course, the GSA Studio Suite, which begins in October, and an introductory course, GSA Beginners.

Fall Drama Classes will be conducted online and begin Oct. 13. Registration opens September 21. See programs below.
After a wonderfully successful summer full of learning and discovery, we are excited to be returning this Fall for more drama online! Our online drama classes are active, imaginative and a fantastic way for kids to have fun with friends, old and new! Our priority is to create online spaces for students in which to feel safe, exercise their creative muscles, and build a community of friends. We keep our class sizes small, so that every participant has the time and space to engage fully, build trust, and has plenty of opportunity to play and create. Led by our experienced faculty of professional artist educators, participants will dive into their imaginations, develop their vocal and physical performance skills, as well as play with improv and theatre creation, discovering new characters and stories.
